چکیده
This study was undertaken to compare Fuhrman grading with World Health Organization/International Society of Urological Pathology (WHO/ISUP) and stereologically measured nuclear area in patients Clear Cell Renal Carcinoma (ccRCC) or Papillary (PRCC) evaluate the independent predictive value Fuhrman, WHO/ISUP combined necrosis a series ccRCC relation cancer-specific survival. In all, 124 cases PRCC were included. All slides blindly scored by two trained pathologists according systems. Nuclear measurements performed on digitally scanned Visiopharm® correlated Analysis showed that application resulted significant downgrading from G2 G1, when comparing grading. Neither these experienced progression. Cancer specific survival estimates 101 slightly superior predicting Novel models included mean (MNA) each which necrosis. Both demonstrated an increased ability predict The demonstrates provides prognostic information compared area. Necrosis combination either MNA adds additional information.

The International Society of Urological Pathology 2012 Consensus Conference made recommendations regarding classification, prognostic factors, staging, and immunohistochemical and molecular assessment of adult renal tumors. Issues relating to prognostic factors were coordinated by a workgroup who identified tumor morphotype, sarcomatoid/rhabdoid differentiation, tumor necrosis, grading, and mic...
متن کاملRenal Tumours in Adults with Correlation between Fuhrman Grading and Proliferative Marker
Background: Definite data regarding the incidence and distribution of renal tumours in eastern India is not known. For better management, as it is essential to identify patients with poor prognosis, prognostic factors like stage, nuclear grade and their relationship to molecular markers are also unclear in this region. The purpose of our study was to assess the spectrum of adu...

Background: Squamous cell carcinoma has a wide range of histological differentiation, which indicates the prognosis. Location of the tumor also affects its prognosis. Objective: To determine the relationship between location of the tumor, age and sex of patients and histological grading of it. Patients and Methods: In this retrospective study, 44631 files of the patients who were referred to tw...
متن کاملThe 2005 International Society of Urological Pathology (ISUP) Consensus Conference on Gleason Grading of Prostatic Carcinoma.
Donald F. Gleason in 1966 created a unique grading system for prostatic carcinoma based solely on the architectural pattern of the tumor. Another innovative aspect of this system was, rather than assigning the worst grade as the grade of the carcinoma, the grade was defined as the sum of the two most common grade patterns and reported as the Gleason score. The original description of this syste...
